It is ironic to write about the aspects of home designs in an environment so far off from being inspirational.

在一堆亂七八糟當中寫關於室內設計,是有點諷刺的。

We are living in a temporary flat at the moment. The vibe of this flat is already very 'local' to begin with, putting it mildly. To free up the maid's room for our new maid, Steve had took out nearly all of the boxes and redistributed them throughout the flat. The smell of old boxes, Lola's ever growing toy collection, combining with the tacky furniture my landlord refused to move out, one has to rely on meditation to go to a happier place.

我們正住在一個短租的房子。這裡的布置本來已經非常「本地化」。今天再加上一堆堆為了迎接新工人而在工人房搬出來的紙箱。舊紙箱的氣味，Lola的玩具，再加上房東的其怪裝飾，真是今人「靈氣迫人」!

Pinterest is the number one greatest invention in modern history. If you haven't already heard of it, which I doubt, you must take a look. You can find me here. It is completely free of course. It gives you access to design photos of any kind: residential, commercial, products, arts, even food, celebrity etc. More importantly, it works like a virtual pinboard for you to keep all inspiration images on the domain. You can access to it anywhere.

There are also quite a few online magazine, also free of charge, which are great source of ideas. This include Lonny Magazing, Rue Magazine and my favorite, Est Magazine.
