"Tuft" love "Tufted"梳化

In Pretty Woman, Richard Gere said to Julia Roberts "People's reactions to opera the first time they see it is very dramatic; they either love it or they hate it. If they love it, they will always love it. If they don't, they may learn to appreciate it, but it will never become part of their soul."

The first time I saw this tufted sofa from the Dries Van Noten shop, my reaction was pretty dramatic as well. I even tried to make a replica with my friend/designer Tommy. Ever since I just love tufted furniture. They are classy, elegant and very romantic.

第一次在雜誌上看到這張沙化時，我的反應也很戲劇化。我仿彿愛上了tufted的家具，不能自拔。什至常試去重做一張。突別喜愛它的古典美，優雅，而且非常浪漫。

You don't have to be an antique lover to appreciate them. As long as you don't 'over tuft', they can be very modern. Minimizing the tufting to one side only will do. 

不只是古董派才會喜歡tufted家俱。只要減少tufting的範圍，它們也可以很時髦。
